This is the 10th annual fundraiser for the Doug Johnson Memorial Fund. Doug was a loving father of 4 children, a fixture of the Inland Northwest ski and bike industry, and all around great dude. His early passing has left a void in the local mountain culture, so this event is to remember and celebrates Doug's way of life.
A Snowboard-only race against the clock through a hand built banked course, this jam-format event gives contestants two timed runs each, with fastest time counted. Individual races are formated with Category awards going three deep, as well as awards for fastest man and woman overall.
Hang out at the finishline, we'll have an outdoor bar and party sponsored by Grand Teton Brewing!
Discounted racer tickets will be available for purchase once registration opens.
Stick around after the event for the Ski Bum Prom, with night skiing until 6:00pm and a party in Moguls until 8:00! Live music will be provided from JamShack, and you will be able to win lots of awesome raffle prizes with proceeds benefitting the Doug Johnson Memorial Fund.
Schedule for the day (subject to change):
7:00am: Racer check-in in the gondola village
7:30am: Ticketing windows open, must show race bibs to get discounted ticket
10:00am: Riders meeting at starting line (mandatory)
10:15am: Race starts
3:30pm (approx): Awards ceremony at finish line
